Distance race
Cover a set distance in one session, 5K, 10K, half, full, or a number you choose. The most common challenge on Pledro and the easiest to argue about afterwards.
Distance race Activities
Each type has its own target, its own window and its own idea of what finishing means. All ten are read straight off your wearable, there is no version of any of them you can type in.

Distance race A fixed distance against the clock. Not first past the post, every completer who beats the time earns the same.
Against the clock Run on consecutive days for the length of the challenge. Miss one and the streak is over, which is exactly the pressure people ask for.
Every single day Turn up a set number of times in the week. The one for people whose problem isn’t intensity, it’s attendance.
Attendance counts Kilometres on the bike, in one ride or across the window depending on how the challenge is written.
Kilometres on the bike Lanes or open water, measured by the wearable. Metres are metres.
Metres are metres A session that has to be genuinely hard, judged on effort rather than distance, useful for training that doesn’t travel anywhere.
Judged on effort A daily step target across the window. The most democratic challenge on the platform, and often the one with the most people in it.
10,000 a day Recovery counts as training. A sleep target measured by the wearable, over consecutive nights.
Worn overnight Minutes spent above a heart-rate threshold. It doesn’t care what you were doing, only how hard you were working.
Minutes in the zone The rule under all ten
Every extra requirement in the create flow maps to something a wearable actually records. That constraint is deliberate: it keeps challenges honest and keeps arguments short.
It also means the list grows as wearables do. More devices are coming, and with them more of these get better.
Any of the ten above, the one you already do. Set the target, set the window, and let the watch do the arguing.
