PLEDRO. Get Pledro

Get Pledro

Staying in control

Looking
after you.

Pledro works because an entry makes a goal harder to walk away from. Limits are part of the same training discipline. You set them the way you set a programme, before the week starts. And they should be easy to find, which is why this page is in the navigation rather than the footer.

Set an entry that motivates, not one that hurts

The entry should be significant enough to get you out of bed and small enough that not completing is a bad afternoon, not a bad month. If a number would keep you up at night, it is the wrong number.

Some limits are on before you set one

A weekly cap on real-money entries applies by default, rather than only when you go looking for one. You can cap each challenge as well, and lowering any limit takes effect immediately. We will never prompt you to raise one.

Take a break whenever

You can stop entering challenges without deleting anything. Your record, your stats and your history stay exactly where they are for when you come back.

A missed challenge is information

It tells you about the target, not about you. Entering something harder the very next day is how training plans break: adjust the target, recover properly, go again.

Train for the body you’ve got

Injured, ill or exhausted is a reason to skip. No reward is worth training through something that needs rest, and no challenge on Pledro is worth an injury.

Keep it social, keep it kind

Results are written to be respectful in defeat, and we expect the same in the comments. Nobody’s missed challenge is a punchline.

Everything is stated before you commit

Target, window, entry, what completing pays and what our share is, all on the screen where you enter. If you ever feel something was hidden from you, that’s a bug and we want to hear about it.

If something doesn’t look right, say so

A result, an entry or a limit behaving in a way you didn’t expect is something we want to hear about. In the app, Get help on any receipt sends the record with it. How to reach us →

Not everything is yours to set

Some of it we decided for you.

Self-discipline shouldn’t be the only thing standing between you and a bad decision. These hold whether or not you ever open a settings screen, and they are enforced on our servers.

£250 public · £100 private

The most that can go into a single real-money challenge, whatever the app asks for.

A weekly cap, on already

Applies by default rather than only when you go looking for one. Lower it whenever you like and it takes effect at once.

A break that holds

Take one and real-money entries stop until it ends. On an account under 18, where free Grind Coins are all there is, it pauses entering altogether. Nothing is deleted and your record waits for you.

Out while you’re alone in it

While nobody else has entered, withdraw whenever you like and your entry comes back in full. No reason needed. Once somebody else is in, everyone is committed.

Three, or it’s called off

A real-money challenge with fewer than three entrants doesn’t run, and everybody’s entry is returned.

Up to 10%. Never more

Pledro’s share of any challenge, in any circumstance. Zero when everyone completes. The arithmetic →

Real-money entries are not live yet. Every account runs on free Grind Coins today, which are not money and cannot be bought.

Our side of it

What we won’t do.

No invented urgency. Countdowns show the real window. A challenge that closes in three days says three days.

No nudging you back in. The next challenge is your call. We won’t push one at you after a challenge you didn’t complete.

No streak-shaming. Missing a day is not framed as a failure of character.

No pressure on your limits. A limit you set is respected, lowering one is immediate, and we will never prompt you to raise it.

No profit from a challenge nobody finishes. If not one person completes a real-money challenge, we keep 10% like everywhere else and the other 90% goes to charity. Where that 90% goes →

Back yourself. Sensibly.

Set the limit the way you set a programme: before the week starts.
